As one of the world's largest test and engineering laboratories, Wyle Laboratories has developed automated control and data acquisition systems for more than 40 years. This capability started with systems for Wyle's own use, but has expanded over the past 25 years to include the design and installation of high technology control and data acquisition systems for a variety of clients.
By using such systems in its own operations, Wyle gained the knowledge and insight needed to adapt the best available technology for reliable systems that are user friendly and price competitive.
Wyle provided complete systems, from engineering and design to installation supervision, start-up and training. This shifted the work burden and turnkey responsibility to Wyle, and kept the customer's engineers free for their normal duties.
The diversity of the Wyle data acquisition and control systems installations is too varied for a complete listing, so the projects described on the following pages are merely examples of our capabilities. They range from automotive test facilities to systems for wind tunnel control and optimization.
- Wind Tunnel Process Automation, NASA's Langley Research Center
- Wind Tunnel Data Aquisition System, Picatinney Arsenal, Dover, N.J.
- Titan 34D Motor Test Stand, Edwards Air Force Base
- Flexseals for Advanced Solid Rocket Motor, Birmingham, Alabama
