Wyle's Integrated Science and Engineering Group is a significant partner in our nation's security. Wyle directly contributes to America's dominance of the aerospace domain by supporting the Department of Defense's Science and Technology Program by providing science, technology and research, development, and test support in aircrew performance and protection to the Air Force Research Laboratory's Human Effectiveness Directorate (AFRL/HE). At Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, Wyle supports AFRL/HE's Biodynamics and Protection Division and the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM).
- Biodynamics and Protection - Wyle contributes to core competencies in aircrew performance and protection against environmental stressors such as acceleration and altitude; fatigue countermeasures for sustained operations; and airworthiness evaluation of medical equipment used in aeromedical evacuation.
Working with the Air Force, Wyle continues to explore both science and technology and operational concepts, identifying those ideas that offer potential for both evolutionary and revolutionary increases in capability. Wyle aids in the testing of those concepts through rigorous experimentation to determine which ideas have practical application worthy of further development.
