Commercial Applications

Wyle is currently expanding its expertise to commercial applications.

Facilities:

The Wyle facilities are equipped with machines, tools, and equipment required to support electronic design operations. A wet lab is maintained primarily for the fabrication and prototype printed circuit boards. Conformal coating and other chemical processes are also performed in the wet lab. Fabrication activities include the fabrication and assembly of cables, wire harnesses, electrical/electronic assemblies and subassemblies for prototype training, ground support and flight electrical and electromechanical hardware.

Products:

Among in-house developed hardware are:

Defibrillator Power/Data Interface Module (for interfacing Commercial-Off-the-Shelf Defibrillator with Space Station 120Volt Power) primarily for the fabrication and prototype printed circuit boards.

Conformal coating and other chemical processes are also performed in the wet lab. Fabrication activities include the fabrication and assembly of cables, wire harnesses, electrical/electronic assemblies and subassemblies for prototype training, ground support and flight electrical and electromechanical hardware.
