He is at the heart of Wyle’s new rocket engine and environmental test center in San Bernardino, Calif. The center will provide commercial and government customers with a world-class commercial center for low-cost, fast-turnaround testing of propulsion systems, components and other high tech systems. Specifically, the center: Provides government agencies with a cost-effective adjunct capability to test smaller propulsion systems for thrusts of up to 50,000 pounds with a broad range of flow rates; supports rapid prototyping, research and development, and testing of advanced propulsion systems on a commercial basis; and provides environmental simulation test capability to support simulation of flight environments and other environmental conditions.
